HYDE is an homage to the title sequence. Over the last couple of years I've fallen in love with the format and wanted to explore my own version. I imagined a Hannibal-style show based on the classic novella. Shot by Brian Fuller, we filled an 80 gallon tank with water and shot colored milk into it's depths. All of the footage was captured on RED EPIC and composited in After Effects.
Fun fact: The chemistry set is the exact set that was used in the film Flubber Robin Williams.
